About SIGNIS JAPAN
1. Since 1976, SIGNIS JAPAN has honored
the most excellent production for
cinema, audio-visual media, etc. every year with the Japan Catholic Film
Award. Recently, we are holding the Award Ceremony and Film Viewing to
commemorate the event.
2. We are holding internet seminars twice a year since 2003 under the
title
of "Church and the Internet"; one is Internet Seminar on how to make the
best use of internet for evangelization in Japan, and the other is an
exchange meeting for those who create/run church homepages for ideas and
for
fellowship promotion.
3. SIGNIS JAPAN hosted SIGNIS ASIA Assembly in September 2007 in Tokyo.
As a member of
SIGNIS ASIA East Asia Sub-region, we will expand our activity
fields, for example, introducing Japanese
excellent media programs to Asia.
